From 13th to 29th September, some benevolent brethren from five of the six Conferences of the Romanian Union were abroad in Holland, working to take to pieces a modular building acquired by the Romanian Union for the Porumbacu SD-ARM Camp.

With a minimum number of people and a maximum effort, made in little comfortable facilities (in terms of accommodation, food and work), our brethren managed to take apart the apartments building in a record time which surprised not only the people in the area, but also the passers-by and the sales assistants, as well as other worker teams, who were working on similar projects; this caught the attention of the local media, who had only appreciative words for them.

In Romania, other groups of brethren helped with their time and power to the unloading of the components of the building materials which were arriving from Holland and to their storing, in view of the work which is to follow.

We thank the Lord for all these brethren who worked with a self-denying and willing spirit for advancing this project and we believe that all their efforts and abnegation will find a just reward in God’s kingdom. We are also glad that, even being in a foreign country, almost 2000 km far from home, with an unknown language, by their work our brethren could nevertheless preach a lesson of practical Christianity, leaving behind a good impression about religion and the God it represents.
